Brett Mercer
Brett has enhanced Greek Design | Build’s knowledge of construction management policies and procedures, implementing best management practices, helping establish Greek as one of the region’s premier industrial general contractors. Prior to joining Greek, Brett spent 12 years with a top contracting firm, managing a wide range of complex projects including mixed-use, office, retail, and warehouse space. Brett earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech, is a member of the Tilt-Up Concrete Association and is a Certified Tilt-Up Supervisor.
Matt Schlindwein, P.E.
Matt has been instrumental in delivering complex industrial projects for many of the region’s leading companies. A licensed Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America, he has played a key role in growing Greek’s team of highly skilled professionals. With deep expertise in the design and construction of Class A warehouse facilities, major renovations, and large‑scale redevelopment projects, Matt’s leadership has helped establish Greek as one of the region’s premier industrial general contractors.
Steve Chick, P.E.
Steve Chick leads pre-construction services for Greek Design|Build, guiding early planning efforts to support efficient, well-executed projects. A licensed Professional Engineer with more than a decade of design experience, he focuses on design efficiency and value-added solutions that enhance constructability and project performance. Steve brings particular expertise in complex industrial and cold storage facilities, where early coordination, sustainability initiatives, and long-term operational efficiency are critical to project success.
Matt Zangara
Matt Zangara serves as Business Development Manager, where he leads efforts to expand Greek Design|Build’s client base and strengthen long-term partnerships. With a background in project and construction management, Matt brings a strategic, client-focused mindset to identifying new opportunities and driving growth across the firm’s third-party construction portfolio.
Steve Rudd, M.S., GSP
Stephen Rudd leads corporate safety initiatives across the organization, embedding safety standards into every phase of construction. Through proactive planning, hands-on oversight, and effective training, he mitigates risk, strengthens safety culture, and supports the successful delivery of complex industrial and logistics projects.
